WALTER COPELAND II
OWNER/FITNESS COACH/NUTRITIONIST

Walter began his career in the fitness world in 2004, as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor, holding certification that is recognized by The NCCA. While seeking his passion in the health and wellness field, he pursued a degree in kinesiology at Temple University. At that time, he realized that he had a passion for training and improving the lives of the people around him. Walter has always enjoyed venturing into the community to share the importance of a healthy lifestyle, through public speaking and demonstration. Notable community engagement affiliations are Enon, Tabernacle Church, Phila, Pa, Community College of Philadelphia, Albert Einstein, Phila, Pa, Girard College of Philadelphia. In Septemeber 2016, He was a panelist for the American Heart Association among others like Patty Jackson, Gerald L. Devaughn and actress, Kim Coles. 

In 2012 he decided to establish his own fitness organization, WC Fitness in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia. Establishing WC Fitness has allowed him to explore many avenues within the community, including being able to personally help people. His clients and friends are the reason he is where he is today. BOXING INSTRUCTOR/CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER

Joe has been trained by and trained with professional and nationally ranked fighters in boxing and martial arts. Joe has also trained for 4 years of his own life to fight professionally. Joe has 8 years of experience as a certified personal trainer, where he specializes in high intensity, strength and sports specific training. Joe believes in the training of the mind, body and soul as one, and that fitness is a journey that is meant to be taken as a team. One of Joe’s favorite quotes is” As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” Proverbs 27:17

SHAKIRAH BEY
GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR/PERSONAL TRAINER

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Shakirah always had an interest in fitness, nutrition and public health. Raised by a father who is a martial arts master, water safety instructor and personal trainer, while excelling in school sports and dance, she inevitably followed in his footsteps and joined the community of fitness professionals as a certified trainer. She has a passion of helping people and a love for dance aerobics that is sure to make you sweat."

MARYSEL JONES
YOGA INSTRUCTOR/ GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR

Recently relocating to Philadelphia after growing up on the Coast of Queensland, Australia, Marysel believes fitness is not just physical but also a mental and spiritual journey that is essential to a balanced, happy and fulfilling life. 
Wanting to further her practice in Yoga, in 2014 she immersed herself in a retreat in Costa Rica achieving her Yoga Teacher Training certification. This journey then motivated her to pursue her passion for fitness and turn it into a career. Since then she has been certified as a Group Fitness instructor and is currently in the process of attaining her Personal Training certification.
Her ambition is to inspire and help others in achieving their goals and to be a healthy role model for her daughter.

KAREN HARPER
CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER/SPORTS NUTRITIONIST

My passion for health and fitness started two years ago when I watched my weight fluctuate out of control for the last time. After leaving corporate america, I decided to turn my personal fitness journey into a career as a personal trainer. I am committed to helping others become a better, healthier and stronger version of themselves. As a 50 plus wife and mom, I maintain an active lifestyle even on my off days. I firmly believe that there is no 'one-size fits all ' approach to fitness. Age really is just a number and if you're willing to work hard, be consistent, good health and fitness can be achieved.

Certification/Degree: ISCA, International Sports Conditioning Association, Certified Personal Training, ISCA, Sports Nutrition Coaching, First Aid/CPR 2018, NGA MR. & MS. All Natural Bodybuilding Finalist, 3rd Place.
